Symbolism
The logo of BA School of Business and Finance is 2 sides of an oval, that associates with a coin, looking from a side, with a text in the middle – BANKU AUGSTSKOLA, the Latvian name of the university. And the English title BA SCHOOL OF BUSINESS OF FINANCE under the oval element.
The logo has been deliberately designed using similarities with the Latvijas Banka logo, the extended semicircle, in order to emphasise the importance of the Latvijas Banka in the development of the BA School of Business and Finance and to recall that the institution of higher education was originally a structural unit of the Latvijas Banka.
Colors of the logo – dark blue and silver grey – both taken from the symbols of Latvijas Banka.
