On 10 May 2023, was concluded the ESF Project No 8.2.2.0/18/A/007 “Support to Strengthen the Capacity of Academic Staff at BA School of Business and Finance”.

From 2019 January 1 to 2023 May10, within the project were carried out a wide variety of study activities. Within the project framework fifteen academic staff members improved their knowledge of English for academic, scientific work, and for the cooperation with international partners. Thirty four academic staff members improved their leadership skills, collaboration competence with industry, or participated in training developing a modern understanding of the challenges of the digital era, including the improvement of applied methodological skills needed to design digital study materials for the study process. Two academic staff members did training with the merchant to gain the knowledge of modern industry. The project employed five foreign academic staff members, which allowed an increase in the share of academic staff with international experience providing lectures to students at the study direction “Management, administration and real estate” at BA School of Business and Finance. To ensure the renewal of academic staff, three doctoral students were involved in academic activities during the project, of which one doctoral student has defended the promotion work and has been providing lectures as elected academic staff member at BA School of Business and Finance since then.

The project has contributed significantly to the development of BA School of Business and Finance, ensuring a continuous strengthening of academic staff capacity by responding promptly to external environmental changes and challenges.
