In the Cabinet of Ministers today, 01.12.2020. a decision has been made to approve the Doctor of Management in Business Administration, Associate Professor Līga Peiseniece, as the Rector of BA School of Business and Finance. The Constitutional Assembly of BA School of Business and Finance elected Līga Peiseniece as the Rector of the BA School of Business and Finance on 27.10.2020.

The Cabinet of Ministers approves the elected rector of BA School of Business and Finance upon the proposal of the founder of the higher education institution and in accordance with the order prepared by the Ministry of Education and Science. The Constitutional Assembly of BA School of Business and Finance elects the rector for a term not exceeding five years, not more than twice in a row. Līga Peiseniece has been confirmed as rector for the first time.

Līga Peiseniece has been working at BA School of Business and Finance since 2005, but since 2011 she has been the Vice-Rector for Studies at this institution.
