Promoting the Employment of Foreign Academic Staff at BA School of Business and Finance,

We announce the selection of one academic personnell at the Study direction Management, administration and real estate.

Requirements and selection criteria:

• person employed in the academic position of any accredited foreign higher education institution during the previous five years;
• person holding a Doctoral degree in economics or entrepreneurship, specializing in the development of transversal skills or have improved skills on proffessional courses;
• person having the appropriate level of English language proficiency (person who has excellent English language skills and knowledge (oral and written)) and have a work experience in the international environment as well as participation in mobility programs;
• person has a pedagogical skills.

Offer Description and Duties:

• lead the lectures and prepare presentations, study materials in the lecture course “Behavioral Economics”.

When applying for the academic personnel, the following documents are required:

An application addressed to the Rector, a CV (in the form of a Europass containing the most important publications in the last 5 years), a document confirming employment in an accredited foreign higher education institution’s academic position, as well as an attestation of the accreditation of that institution. The assessment of pedagogical skills requires an open lecture that can be organized both in person and in video format, student feedback. Applications must be sent to personals@ba.lv

We offer:

• salary up to EUR 4000 to 1 workload;
• minimum period of employment – 4 months, no longer until November 30, 2023.
