On Thursday, October 24, the series of free lectures “Investment Perspectives – from a Hedge Fund Guy” led by Gints Roberts Bērziņš (USA),  an investment banker with decades of experience in investment management, will come to an end.

We are excited to announce that Andris K. Bērziņš of Change Ventures and Ieva Vīgante of Swedbank Baltics AS will join us in a “fireside chat” at our Thursday, October 24th seminar.

Andris K. Bērziņš is a partner in Change Ventures – a family of funds that make investments typically of €100k-500k in “pre-seed” Baltic companies that have the potential to become global:

•  At Change Ventures, he has invested in dozens of pre-seed and larger Baltic companies and has also invested as a business angel;
•  He is a co-founder of Startup House Riga, TechChill and holds an MBA from Stanford University.

In this lecture he will be speaking about angel investments, venture capital, the structuring of these investments and the current investing environment.

Ieva Vīgante has been employed in corporate banking for more than 25 years. Since early 2020 Ieva has been managing Swedbank’s Corporate Segment at the Baltic level, serving as a Board Member of Swedbank Baltics AS.

Ieva is responsible for developing strategies, generating business plans, new product and process development activities as well as providing sales support for the corporate segment in all Baltic countries. Ieva holds a master’s degree from the University of Latvia and an EMBA from Riga Business School.
