Grant Competition for Doctoral Students and Doctoral Candidates: Deadline extended until May 5!

The University of Latvia and BA School of Business and Finance announce Academic Career Grant Competition for Doctoral Students and Doctoral Candidates.

Participation in the grant competition shall be open to the University of Latvia and the BA School of Business and Finance doctoral students enrolled in doctoral study programmes and doctoral candidates to conduct scientific research work at the University of Latvia and the BA School of Business and Finance.

The support for doctoral students and doctoral candidates in the project is intended to promote their academic activities in the University of Latvia and the BA School of Business and Finance to ensure that the academic career of the doctoral student and the doctoral candidate after the participation in the project is certain.

The application for the grant competition has been extended until May 5, as amendments have been made to the rules of the competition, providing that doctoral students who are currently on a study break can also apply for the competition, with the condition that in case of receiving a grant, the doctoral student will have six months of renewal studies.

The Regulations on the University of Latvia and BA School of Business and Finance Academic Career Grant Competition for Doctoral Students and Doctoral Candidates prescribe the procedures by which the University of Latvia and the BA School of Business and Finance organize and implement the Open Competition for Academic Career Doctoral Grants, and administer the resources of the Recovery Fund and state budget allocated for financing Academic Career Doctoral Grants.

Academic Career Doctoral grants shall be granted and administered within the framework of the jointly planned the University of Latvia and the BA School of Business and Finance project provided for in the Cabinet Regulations.
