As an ardent and active member since 2001 BA School of Business and Finance (BASBF) looks further toward a new stage in international cooperation with 19 member universities of international Prime Networking association comprising 18 countries among them also USA and Columbia. The association promotes international and cross-cultural teaching and learning by adding value to existing higher education provision by focusing on new world challenges related to sustainability and technological advance in higher education.
BASBF congratulates the rector Līga Peiseniece on being elected as a new Executive Board member of the PRIME Networking association along with other Board members from Austria, Greece, Czech Republic, Spain and Columbia.
Over the years BASBF has had opportunities for cooperation and mobility with its international partner universities. Euroweek – an academic student conference held annually in a different European city, organized by Prime Networking contributes to new knowledge development of students and staff. PRIMEATHON as an umbrella concept for collaborative online international learning opportunities during hackathon events provide BASBF students and staff excellent opportunities for collaborative and innovative learning and teaching based on case analysis.
