BA School of Business and Finance receives awards at the ”Mi:t&Links” Baltic Communication competition 2023

20.03.2023.

“Mi:t & Links” is the Baltic largest communication competition in which contestants from BA School of Business and Finance were awarded the first two prizes in two categories.

The international jury highly assessed the activities performed in 2022. Among them was the championship on energy efficiency “Closer!” “Warmer!” “More fun!” awarded with a gold prize under the category “Internal communication”.

The victory could not be possible without the support of administrative staff who prepared the premises for winter season, regulated the heating system, partly worked remotely. The students, academic and other staff enthusiastically took part in energy saving activities – less frequently used the elevator, wore warm clothes, turned off computers when not being at computer desk.

Together, we managed to implement, with ease and enthusiasm, important austerity measures for BA School of Business and Finance so that the rapid rise in energy prices does not affect the study process in person.

Similarly, international professionals in the sector highly appreciated the initiative of BA School of Business and Finance in regards to the quality of financial education. During major changes in university reform, BA School of Business and Finance opted not to indulge in a flow of actions and chaos but involved into a goal-oriented activities to increase the quality of financial education, to support the interests of students to receive competitive education, and to stop hasty merger plans by offering a well-considered and prudent “Road Map” for its future.

BA School of Business and Finance “Road Map” under the category “Issues and Crisis Management” was awarded the first prize in the competition.

The competition involved participants from LMT, Swedbank, Rimi, Lidl, Olainfarm and other large companies, as well as companies from Lithuania and Estonia.

Both projects we carried out together with our communication partners “Public ID” agency. We would like to thank you all for your involvement in the activities of BA School of Business and Finance, and we look forward to other success stories.
