For the fourth consecutive year, the BA School of Business and Finance has been honored with the prestigious “Three Palms of Excellence” in the EDUNIVERSAL rankings. This recognition highlights the institution as an outstanding business school with a strong international influence.

The university’s joint double-degree professional master’s program, International Finance and Banking, developed in collaboration with the SBS Swiss Business School, ranks 8th in Eastern Europe in the Corporate Finance category. Additionally, its professional master’s program Business Adminstration is ranked 12th in the region.

Rector of the BA School of Business and Finance, Professor Līga Peiseniece, expressed her gratitude:
“For many years, the high recognition of the BA School of Business and Finance in the international EDUNIVERSAL rankings has demonstrated our ability to grow and adapt to rapidly changing circumstances. Thanks to the collective efforts of our lecturers, staff, students, and our partners—employers and universities in Latvia and abroad—we are able to provide students with high-quality education and memorable learning experiences. I am deeply grateful to everyone contributing to the development of our school.”

The BA School of Business and Finance has participated in the EDUNIVERSAL rankings since 2007. Among thousands of business schools from 153 countries, it has consistently ranked among the top 1,000. The EDUNIVERSAL International Scientific Committee (ISC) selects the best business schools using a quota system that combines quantitative and qualitative criteria. Each of the nine ISC experts represents a specific geographic zone and brings extensive academic experience to the evaluation process.

Business schools are classified into five excellence levels, known as Palmes of Excellence. The Three Palms category includes 400 business schools that are recognized for their excellence and growing international influence. The ranking is reviewed annually to provide an updated and objective assessment of each institution.

In addition to evaluating schools, EDUNIVERSAL also assesses master’s programs submitted for review. These rankings take into account the opinions of students and feature 5,820 top-rated master’s and MBA programs across 56 fields of study, offering prospective students a comprehensive guide to choosing the right program.
