The venue for the annual conference of ASBBMC, organized by the BA School of Business and Finance, RISEBA, and the Stockholm School of Economics in Riga, varies from BA School of Business and Finance to RISEBA. This year, participants are welcomed at BA School of Business and Finance. The conference will once again will take place for three days, with the first day dedicated to doctoral students and doctoral candidates, the second day featuring lectures and discussions by high-level academic and industry professionals in plenary sessions, and the third day devoted to discussing presentations prepared by scientists in parallel sessions.
The thematic focus of the plenary sessions this year is directed towards topics relevant to the global academic discourse and significant within the industry professional environment, corresponding to the conference’s title or guiding theme: green digital finance, innovation and sustainability, the importance of collaboration management in today’s global digitized business environment, as well as trends and challenges in the development of new generation business and financial education. Plenary sessions will be attended by both foreign scientists actively engaged in their research field – Dr. Thomas Puschmann, Director of the Global Sustainable Digital Finance Center (Stanford University, University of Zurich), Dr. Luísa Cagica Carvalho, Associate Professor and researcher at the Setubal Polytechnic Institute, as well as Rytis Urbanavicius, one of the founders and leaders of the internationally recognized green fintech company Heavy Finance, and recognized Latvian academic and industry experts.
