Cybersecurity Research Laboratory

The Cyber Security Research Laboratory of BA School of Business and Finance is a structural unit of the university, the purpose of which is to conduct research in information security, cyber security and related areas, thus promoting and developing the reliability of digital content and e-services in cyberspace.

The name of the laboratory is Cybersecurity Research Laboratory (CybReLab)

The laboratory has the following tasks:

• conduct research in information security, cyber security and related areas for academic purposes, as well as fulfilling orders from public and private sector partners;
• promote the involvement of university students in research and participate in the implementation of university study programs;
• create educational programs, courses and seminars according to the laboratory’s competence and direction of activity;
• provide consultations and other public services within the competence of the laboratory;
• create a discussion environment in Latvia and internationally on topics relevant to the laboratory’s specialization;
• perform other tasks according to competence.
