All BA School of Business and Finance full time international students are eligible for Erasmus+ studies. Each student may use up to 12 months at Erasmus+ together for studies and traineeship in each study level (Bachelor, Master, Doctor) and an unlimited number of times. Students can only apply for exchange studies at universities that have a dually signed bilateral agreement with BA School of Business and Finance.

Application Procedure
Application for Erasmus studies in Spring 2024/2025 semester (January/February 2025 – June/July 20255) until September 30.
The application process is announced twice a year:
- January/February – for autumn semester;
- September/October – for spring semester.
Application documents:
- Recommendation from your English or other language professor (only if the language of instruction of your studies at BA School of Business and Finance is Latvian);
- If necessary, certificates confirming language proficiency (internationally recognized language tests, etc.).

Scholarship
After Erasmus+ approval students receive a scholarship for Erasmus+ study mobility. The scholarship consists of funding from European Commission and Latvia state co-financing budget. Students receive 80% of the amount of the scholarship after all the required documents before the mobility have been handed in and other requirements before the mobility have been fulfilled. The remaining 20% of the scholarship students receive upon arrival back to the home university (BA School of Business and Finance) from the mobility. Students receive remaining part of the scholarship only after they have handed in all after mobility documents and have fulfilled other after mobility requirements.

All BA School of Business and Finance full time international students are eligible for Erasmus+ traineeship. Each student may use up to 12 months at Erasmus+ together traineeship and studies in each study level (Bachelor, Master, Doctor) and unlimited number of times. Students may apply for traineeship at any company in 28 European Union countries and non EU Programme Countries – Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Turkey and former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia. Students may apply for traineeships during the study period or for recent graduate traineeships. The programme of Erasmus+ traineeship should be in line with study programme requirements for study traineeships. Recent graduate traineeships have to be carried out within the first 12 months after graduating BA School of Business and Finance (application and selection process must be done before graduation). The earliest starting day of recent alumni traineeship is the next day after graduation.

Application Procedure
Applications for Erasmus+ traineeships are open throughout the academic year 2020/2021
Application documents:
- Application form;
- Letter of Intent prepared by receiving traineeship company/organization, confirming that receiving company/organization will provide traineeship for student within Erasmus+ Programme. In some cases, online communication with receiving company/organization demonstrating its will to provide traineeship may temporarily replace Letter of Intent.
- CV in English (Europass form) including your portrait photo; CV must be signed; next to your signature, please, write your full name, surname and date;
- Recommendation from your English or other language professor (only if the language of instruction of your studies at BA School of Business and Finance is Latvian).
