Cybersecurity awareness month at Banku augstskola (BA) is held every October, Cybersecurity Awareness Month is a collaborative effort between government and industry to raise awareness about the importance of cybersecurity and to ensure that all users have the resources they need to be safer and more secure online.

Lecturer: Mischa Coster, Chief Psychology Officer, Grey Matters
Mischa is a Master of Science in Media psychology, Chief Psychology Officer at Grey Matters and a public speaker giving speeches on consumer psychology, social psychology, media psychology, nudging, behavior influence, escalation prevention, fake news and social engineering. He is also a jury member for Digital communication Awards, co-founder of TEDxUtrecht and certified Microexpression Recognition expert.

Lectors: digital researchers Nika Aleksejeva and Roman Osadchuk from the DFRLab
Nika Aleksejeva is a digital researcher with the DFRLab covering the information space in the Baltic states, Russia, and the wider region. She uses OSINT (Open Source Intelligence) tools and methods to monitor elections, military exercises, and the impact of technology on digital information environments. Her formal education in communication science and political science combined with her practical knowledge of information technologies and data analysis skills, helps her provide deeper insights into key events in the digital communication spaces. Before joining the DFRLab, Nika was part of a popular data visualization tool Infogram team. Nika also runs the international data literacy initiative School of Data in Latvia as a voluntary contribution.

Roman Osadchuk is a research assistant for the Eurasia region at the Atlantic Council’s Digital Forensic Research Lab. Recently, Roman received an MPA degree from the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs, where he focused on information policy. Prior to joining DFRLab, he held several positions in Ukraine Crisis Media Center, where he was involved in communications of decentralization reform and administrative support to the internal operations.
